Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) said that President Trump’s threats to other countries should put the U.S. “on the path to world war III.”
Corker told a reporter on Sunday that Trump was treating the presidency like “a truth show” and acts “like he’s doing ‘The Apprentice’ or something.”
“He worries me,” Corker told the reporter. “He might need to situation anybody who considers about our country” Corker added. Corker’s comments arise Trump hit the senator in a series of tweets on this Sunday.
Trump tweeted “Senator Bob Corker ‘begged’ me to endorse him for re-election in Tennessee. I said ‘NO’ and he dropped out (said he couldn’t win without…..my endorsement). He also wanted to be Secretary of state, I said ‘NO thanks.’ He is also largely liable for the horrendous Iran Deal!”.
“Therefore, I’d completely expect Corker to be a poor voice and stand in the way of our incredible agenda. did not have the guts to run!” Trump again tweeted.
However, “It is a disgrace to the White House has turned out to be an adult day care center. Someone obviously neglected their shift this morning,” Corker fired back in a tweet earlier Sunday.
Corker opposed Trump’s account to the times, saying that Trump had asked him to run and promised to advise him if he did.
