The camera of our mobile devices is something that many value very positively. He accompanies us everywhere and we want the best possible experience. Today we face two of the most important Chinese terminals in the market, the Xiaomi Mi6 and Huawei P10. Let’s compare your cameras in low light conditions to see which of the two gives us better results.
Practically most of the terminals in the market offer us good photographic results in broad daylight. It will always depend on the price, that is clear, but something decent will come out. It is in conditions of low luminosity where the highest quality of the sensor and lens that they incorporate is perceived. There are good exponents in mobile telephony. Let’s see if these are one of them.
Xiaomi Mi6 vs Huawei P10 Faced in Low Light Conditions
The Xiaomi Mi6 and the Huawei P10 are the flagship of their respective brands. However, the photographic section is very close this year. There are great proposals that offer magnificent results in all possible conditions. These two Chinese terminals obtain very good results in good light conditions. Let’s see below how they behave when light is scarce.
The photos of the Xiaomi Mi6 will always be the ones on the left, also identifiable by the watermark. That said, in this outdoor photo at night we can see how both defend themselves but without any fanfare. They both have a lot of noise. However, the P10 gets more saturated colors and the noise incidence is lower. Besides being better focused than the Xiaomi.
In these two pairs of images we can observe the same thing. The Huawei P10 manages to capture more light than the Xiaomi Mi6 . Although the white balance is not fully adjusted in P10, pulling slightly towards the yellows. Here the Mi6 corrects the color better but offers a less saturated image. We see more noise in the Xiaomi but it seems to be a little better focused. Despite this, the image information is very poor in the dark areas and you do not get to appreciate any detail.
Both terminals are great exponents of the high range. Its features are the latest in the market, have a design and premium materials. But, speaking strictly of photos in low light, we set the scale slightly toward the Huawei P10. None stand out in solving these situations correctly but the P10 interprets the scene a little better and makes it more striking . We will see if with later updates both can improve something.
