This week, Kathy Hochul spent time in New York City, appearing at an event Friday with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, who tested positive for COVID-19 in late March.
However, COVID-19 positive cases have increased in both New York City and the state.

82% of New York’s total population has received at least one dose of the vaccine in the state, and 74.2% have got fully vaccinated in the state, according to public data.
