In the case of natural fruit juices, we must also be careful if they are prepared with citrus fruits.
Orange, for example, is quite acidic and can erode tooth enamel. When this happens, teeth are more vulnerable to disease and the proliferation of bacteria.
5. Acidic foods
In addition to citrus, in this group of foods that produce caries, we find tomatoes, wine, and pickles.
If they are consumed with some regularity, they can weaken dental health and promote the appearance of cavities.
Coffee is one of the most consumed beverages in the world.
While for some, it brings health benefits; for others, it can translate into oral problems. Everything depends, of course, on how much you drink per day and whether you add sugar, milk or cream.
