Hollywood actress and famous in Alias series Jennifer Garner celebrated for her star power on and off the screen as a woman of the year of Hasty Pudding.
‘Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ of Harvard University is parading Jennifer Garner through the streets of Cambridge, Massachusetts, before roasting her as Woman of the Year-2022 for the company 2022.
Hasty Pudding organizers said they selected Jennifer Garner not only because of her acting career but also because of her track record as a businesswoman and philanthropist.
Hasty Pudding Theatricals, dating back to 1844 and billing itself as the world’s third-oldest theatrical group, started its ‘Woman of the Year award’ in 1951. It started to honor people who have made impressive and lasting contributions to the world of entertainment. Past winners include Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Ethel Merman, and Cher. Viola Davis was the winner of the last year.
Garner, 49, was nominated for multiple Primetime Emmys for her role as Sydney Bristow on the spy TV series Alias. She has also got good admiration for her job in several movies, including Juno, Dallas Buyers Club, and 13 Going on 30.
Garner is a trustee of ‘Save the Children.’ She has advocated on ‘Capitol Hill’ and across the country to move up awareness as well as funds. She also co-founded Once Upon a Farm, the organic food company, in 2017, intending to provide children with the highest quality food produced using endurable methods.
Jason Bateman, who played Garner’s husband role in the 2007 film Juno, was honored as the Man of the Year 2022 before the week.
