Bruno Mars, who was not present at the ceremony, won in the categories of Favorite Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist Pop / Rock, Favorite Album Pop / Rock for his smash 24K Magic, Favorite Male Artist Soul / R & B, Favorite Album Soul / R & B, Video of the Year and Favorite Song Soul / R & B for That’s What I Like.

Another artist with a good night was Keith Urban to prevail as Favorite Male Artist – Country, Favorite Country Album (Ripcord) and Favorite Country Song (Blue Is not Your Color).

Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber were also recognized for their already celebrated Despacito in the categories of Favorite Song Pop / Rock and Collaboration of the year.

Among the performances of the evening highlighted those of Pink, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Hailee Steinfeld from Alesso and Florida Georgia Line, Shawn Mendes, Macklemore and Skylar Gray, Portugal. The Man, Zedd with Alessia Cara, Khalid & Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga and Niall Horan.
